Dentistry for Kids
At Mount Olive Family Dental we treat the whole family! The American Dental Association recommends that a dentist see a child as soon as his or her first tooth erupts. Besides checking for tooth decay, Dr. Argenziano and her hygiene staff can demonstrate proper oral hygiene, discuss dietary concerns, evaluate any adverse habits such as thumb-sucking, and help your children maintain a lifetime of dental health. We focus on prevention for all our patients, but especially children. At your child’s first visit, you can expect that we will examine their head, neck, teeth and gums, take any necessary dental radiographs, clean and polish their teeth, apply fluoride, and provide necessary hygiene instruction.
